FIVE YEAR STARE: Former STEREOMUD, SCAR CULTURE Members Name New Project

May 6, 2005

Former STEREOMUD guitarist John Fattoruso, ex-SCAR CULTURE bassist Frank Cannino, ex-CODED guitarist Joe Festa and drummer Glenn Moss have selected FIVE YEAR STARE as the name of their new project. "It's [the name] just something that got kicked around for a while and in the end it seemed to fit the best," stated Fattoruso. "We wanted a name that people had to think about for a second and come up with their own mental picture of what it means. So far we've heard some cool shit that people think it means and that's what we want."

Regarding the group's songwriting process, John said, "We are about six songs into the writing and it is all coming together really quick and natural. We're hoping to be out playing in about a month but we'll see what happens."
